2. OPEN SPACE GUIDING PRINCIPLES, GOALS, AND DEFINITIONS

The Open Space Framework provides a new way of thinking about open space. It expands the traditional definition of open space and introduces the concept of a high-performing network

- Every San Franciscan is within a 10-minute walk from an open space greater than one acre

- Every San Franciscan has access to a network of high-performing open spaces
